Elder and Vulnerable Adult Abuse

• At this time, only representatives of nursing and long-term care homes can report elder / vulnerable adult abuse online. Other complainants can phone our non-emergency line (519-258-6111) to file reports.
• In case of emergency, dial 9-1-1.
Windsor Police Service accepts online reports of elder or vulnerable adult abuse committed by relatives, friends, and caregivers. This includes physical abuse, mental abuse, medication abuse, financial exploitation, and neglect.
Sexual assaults, assaults with injuries, and assaults with weapons against an elder or vulnerable adult are not eligible for online reporting. If your report involves one of these offences, phone our non-emergency line (519-258-6111) or call 9-1-1 in an emergency.
