Quick arrest after two vehicles set on fire 

The Windsor Police Service has arrested a 34-year-old man after two vehicles were deliberately set on fire.  

Shortly after 7 a.m. on September 9, 2026, officers responded to a report of a vehicle fire in the 100 block of Park Street. Upon arrival, officers learned that a second parked vehicle had also been set ablaze nearby on Pelissier Street. 

Windsor Fire & Rescue Services attended and extinguished both fires. No physical injuries were reported. 

Officers reviewed video surveillance footage from the area and quickly identified a suspect. Shortly after 11 a.m., they located and arrested the suspect in the area of Wyandotte Street and Dufferin Place. 

Victor Featherstone, 34, is charged with: 

•    Arson causing property damage (x 3) 

•    Failure to comply with a release order (x 5)
