Two men arrested after police interrupt armed B&E
The Windsor Police Service has charged two suspects after officers interrupted an armed break-and-enter in progress at a residence.
Shortly after 4 p.m. on August 19, 2026, officers responded to a break-and-enter in progress at a house in the 800 block of Assumption Street. An investigation determined that two male suspects had forced their way into the residence while two people were in the house. One suspect had his face covered and was armed with a knife, while the other was armed with a sword.
The suspects threatened the residents and ordered them to leave the house before throwing their personal belongings onto the front lawn.
One of the victims was able to call police. Officers quickly attended the home, interrupted the break-and-enter, and arrested both suspects. No injuries were reported.
During a subsequent search, officers located a taser and a quantity of suspected methamphetamine.
Investigators believe this was a targeted incident.
David Paul Quinlan, 51, has been charged with:
- Break-and-enter
- Assault with a weapon
- Wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence
- Failure to comply with a probation order
Aron N. Isaac, 42, has been charged with:
- Break-and-enter
- Assault with a weapon
- Possession of a prohibited weapon
- Possession of a Schedule I substance
Investigators are asking residents in the area to review any available surveillance or dash-camera footage for video that may assist with the investigation.
