Motorcyclist seriously injured in collision

The Windsor Police Service is investigating a motor vehicle collision that left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.  

Shortly after 7:30 p.m. on July 7, 2026, officers responded to a report of a collision involving a motorcycle on the westbound E.C. Row Expressway near Howard Avenue. A preliminary investigation determined that the motorcyclist was changing lanes when they collided with a vehicle travelling in the same direction.  

The 52-year-old motorcyclist was transported to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.  

The driver of the other vehicle reported the collision to police and is cooperating with the investigation.  

The area was closed for several hours while members of the Traffic Reconstruction Unit and Forensic Identification Unit processed the scene.  

The investigation is ongoing.
