Police K9 Timber tracks down break-in suspect
A Windsor Police Service K9 officer tracked down and helped arrest a suspect following a commercial break-and-enter.
Shortly after 4:30 a.m. on June 22, 2026, officers responded to a report of a break-and-enter in progress at a building under construction in the 1500 block of Wyandotte Street West. The complainant, who was monitoring live surveillance cameras installed throughout the site, reported seeing two unknown men unlawfully enter the property and begin removing drywall and other items from inside the building.
Officers arrived on scene and established a perimeter around the building. K9 Officer Timber was deployed and located a suspect hiding in one of the rooms. The man was taken into custody after a brief struggle.
A pry bar, screwdrivers, a flashlight, and two backpacks containing tools were recovered at the scene.
Brandon Paul White, 32, has been charged with break-and-enter with intent to commit an indictable offence, possession of break-in instruments, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
