Case #: 26-49858

Two arrested after police interrupt drug deals

Members of the Windsor Police Service City Centre Patrol (CCP), working as part of the Strengthen the Core initiative, arrested two people and seized drugs and cash after witnessing hand-to-hand transactions in the downtown core.

Shortly before 10 a.m. on May 10, 2026, CCP officers patrolling in the 800 block of Ouellette Avenue observed several people approach a parked vehicle, briefly interact with its two occupants, and then leave. Officers believed these interactions were consistent with street-level drug trafficking.

One of the suspects later exited the vehicle, approached several other people, where additional suspected exchanges were observed.

Police quickly moved in and arrested both suspects at the scene without incident. A search of the individuals and the vehicle returned the following:

  • 467 suspected hydromorphone pills
  • 79 additional suspected narcotic pills
  • 9.1 grams of packaged cannabis
  • $7,460 in Canadian currency
  • Two cellular phones

Patrick Lomumba Gordon, 57, and a 16-year-old male, who cannot be identified in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act, have each been charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.
