Case #: 26-44619
Investigation underway after pellet gun fired at residence

The Windsor Police Service is investigating after a residence was struck by gunfire believed to have been from a pellet gun.

Shortly after 9 p.m., on April 27, 2026, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 1500 block of Goyeau Street. Once on scene, officers located multiple holes in the home’s windows consistent with a pellet gun. No injuries were reported.

Investigators determined that two masked suspects fired the weapon at the residence before fleeing north on Goyeau St. The suspects are believed to have entered a nearby vehicle described as a white Ford Flex.

Investigators are actively working to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident and whether it is connected to this week’s murder of a 16-year-old boy.

The Windsor Police Service takes incidents involving weapons seriously. Acts of retaliation or intimidation that place the public at risk will not be tolerated and will be thoroughly investigated.
