Windsor Police investigating suspected homicide


The Windsor Police Service is investigating a suspected homicide after a teenager died from apparent stab wounds.

Shortly before 6 p.m. this evening, officers responded to a report of a person with a weapon in the 300 block of Tecumseh Rd E. A 16-year-old male suffering from life-threatening injuries was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

A suspect was located and arrested a short time later in the 1500 block of Goyeau Street.

Members of our Major Crimes Unit have taken carriage of the investigation.
