UPDATE: Two suspects arrested after violent home invasion


The Windsor Police Service has arrested two suspects in connection with a violent home invasion earlier this week.

Shortly before 12:30 a.m. on March 30, 2026, two masked suspects forced entry into a residence in the 600 block of Radisson Court. They threatened and assaulted the occupants and discharged a firearm, while a third suspect waited outside as the getaway driver. The suspects fled with a large quantity of cash and other property.

The Windsor Police Major Crimes Unit quickly identified two of the suspects involved.

Shortly before 8:30 p.m. on March 31, members of the Problem-Oriented Policing Unit located and arrested a suspect in the 5400 block of Reginald Street.

A second suspect was taken into custody at approximately 12 p.m. the following day by the OPP-led Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad in Kemptville, Ontario.

Robert David Crawford, 55, and Nicholas Joyce-Labossiere, 34, have both been charged with the following:

  • Discharging a firearm with recklessness as to the life or safety of another person 
  • Robbery with an offensive weapon 
  • Assault with a weapon 
  • Assault
  • Forcible confinement 
  • Pointing a firearm (x2) 
  • Occupying a motor vehicle with a firearm 
  • Break-and-enter to commit an indictable offence 
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

Crawford and Joyce-Labossiere also face three and two counts, respectively, of possession of a firearm while prohibited.

A third suspect remains outstanding.
