Case #: 26-25964

Man facing multiple violent charges arrested for breaching bail

A 45-year-old man facing multiple violent charges has been arrested for violating his bail conditions.

Randy Maracle is before the courts on firearms related charges as well as charges of assault with a weapon (x4), assaulting a peace officer (x4), resisting arrest (x4), dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, impaired driving,  and failure to comply with a release order. In September 2025, he was released on bail with court-ordered conditions, including house arrest.

During routine monitoring, Windsor Police bail compliance officers determined that Maracle had violated his release conditions. He was located at a hotel in the 200 block of Riverside Drive West without his surety present.

On March 12, 2026, at approximately 2 p.m., bail compliance officers, with assistance from the Ontario Provincial Police-led Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad, located and arrested Maracle without incident.

He has been charged with failure to comply with a release order.

The arrest was led by bail officers from the Offender Management Unit, a joint initiative between the Windsor Police Service and the LaSalle Police Service. The unit supervises high-risk individuals under court-ordered conditions such as house arrest, curfews, and electronic monitoring. It is funded through a provincial grant aimed at strengthening Ontario’s bail system.

To report an individual who is not complying with their release conditions, please contact the Windsor Police Service at 519-255-6700. To remain anonymous, contact Windsor & Essex County Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 (TIPS) or visit www.catchcrooks.com.
