12 arrested in three-day initiative 

The Windsor Police Service arrested 12 people over a three-day period as part of ongoing efforts to enhance community safety in the Glengarry neighbourhood.

From March 11 to 13, 2026, members of the Problem-Oriented Policing Unit (POP), in partnership with the Windsor Essex Community Housing Corporation, conducted an enforcement initiative at apartment buildings in the 300 and 400 blocks of Glengarry Avenue.

During the operation, officers made 12 arrests and laid 12 criminal charges. More than half of these charges were related failure to comply with a release order and breaches of probation.The Windsor Police Service remains committed to delivering essential support to those in need while safeguarding the community.
