Windsor Police investigate string of auto thefts
The Windsor Police Service is seeking the public’s help following a coordinated series of vehicle thefts and attempted thefts.
Between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. on February 19, 2026, suspects stole five vehicles and attempted to steal six more in separate incidents across the city. The vehicles targeted were primarily Lexus models and Toyota Tundra pickup trucks.
The incidents were reported at residential properties in the following areas:
• 10000 block of Beverly Glenn Street
• 900 block of Chateau Avenue
• 1100 block of Chateau Avenue
• 1000 block of Clover Avenue
• 11300 block of Firgrove Drive
• 1000 block of Imperial Crescent
• 1500 block of Meridian Street
• 300 block of Oakpark Drive
• 1400 block of Rockport Street
• 4200 block of Sharon Avenue
The Windsor Police Service Target Base Unit is leading the investigation and urges residents and business owners in these areas to review their surveillance footage and report any suspicious activity captured between 3 a.m. and 8 a.m. on February 19.
