Suspect charged after loaded stolen firearm and drugs seized  

A 43-year-old man arrested for assault is facing 14 additional charges following the seizure of a loaded stolen firearm and illegal drugs.  

On February 11, 2026, members of the Ontario Provincial Police-led Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Unit located and arrested Mohamad Mahdi Jouduh in the 1800 block of Cabana Road. Joudah was wanted on charges of assault, assault with a weapon, and theft after a physical altercation the previous day.  

During a search incident to arrest, officers seized a loaded stolen Iver Johnson .32 calibre revolver with ammunition, along with suspected drugs and related paraphernalia, including 21.1 grams of cocaine, 6.8 grams of fentanyl, 222 hydromorphone tablets, 221 clonazepam tablets, four digital scales, and $275 in Canadian currency.

 Joudah has been charged with the following offences:

  • Carrying a concealed weapon
  • Possession of a loaded regulated firearm
  • Possession of a firearm obtained by crime
  • Possession of a prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a licence or registration certificate
  • Unsafe transportation of a firearm
  • Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (x 4)
  • Breach of a firearms prohibition order (x 3)
  • Breach of probation (x 2)
