Suspect charged after police seize $8,000 in drugs
The Windsor Police Service has arrested a 46-year-old man and seized almost $8,000 worth of illicit drugs.
In February 2026, the Windsor Police Drugs and Guns (DIGS) Unit launched an investigation into a suspect believed to be trafficking illicit substances within the Glengarry Housing Complex.
Shortly before 8 p.m. on February 5, members of DIGS, with the assistance of the Emergency Services Unit (ESU), located and arrested a suspect at a residence in the 300 block of Glengarry Avenue.
Following the arrest, officers executed a search warrant at the residence and seized 39 grams of fentanyl, 53 grams of cocaine, and 1 gram of methamphetamine, along with a debt list, a digital scale, and $365 in Canadian currency.
A 46-year-old man has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
