Suspect charged in east Windsor vandalism spree
The Windsor Police Service has charged a suspect in connection with a vandalism spree that caused more than $37,000 in property damage in the city’s east end.
The incidents took place between December 26, 2025 and January 26, 2026, and involved 24 separate occurrences affecting residences, vehicles, and commercial establishments. All incidents were similar in nature, involving a projectile striking windows and shattering them beyond repair. In several cases, a white marble or silver pellet was recovered at the scene.
The Windsor Police Target Base Unit investigated the incidents and identified a suspect.
At approximately 8:30 p.m. on January 26, members of the Target Base Unit arrested the suspect in a parking lot in the 5000 block of Tecumseh Road East, after a business’s front window was shattered by a projectile.
Officers were also able to locate a sling shot and several white and metallic pellets and marbles on scene.
Dylan Fleury, 32, has been charged with:
• Mischief exceeding $5,000 (x4)• Mischief not exceeding $5,000 (x2)
• Possession of a weapon for committing an offence (x6)
