Suspect arrested following road rage incident


The Windsor Police Service has arrested a 39-year-old man in connection with a road rage incident.

At approximately 1:20 p.m. on December 31, 2025, officers responded to a report of an assault in a parking lot of a business in the 3100 block of Howard Avenue. Upon arrival, they learned the incident started as an argument between two motorists. A male motorist allegedly struck a female motorist in the face with a walking cane, then placed her in a headlock, and threw her to the pavement before leaving the scene in his vehicle.

The woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

While officers were interviewing the victim and witnesses, the suspect returned to the area and was taken into custody without incident.

Kyle Louis McIntyre, 39, has been charged with assault, assault with a weapon, failure to comply with a release order.
