Arson suspects sought after house fire
The Windsor Police Service are seeking two suspects in connection with a deliberately set residential fire.
At approximately 3:30 a.m. on December 20, 2025, officers responded to a report of a blaze at a house in the 1600 block of Drouillard Road. The rear porch and a portion of the residence sustained significant damage, estimated at $75,000. The home was vacant at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported.
Members of the Windsor Police Arson Unit reviewed surveillance footage of the area, which showed two suspects approach the rear of the residence. The suspects poured an accelerant onto the porch and exterior of the home before igniting the fire and fleeing the area on foot.
The first suspect is described as a white male, approximately 18 to 25 years of age, wearing a black face covering, black puffer jacket, white hooded sweater, grey sweatpants with the number “25” on the left pant leg, and black Nike shoes.
The second suspect is described as a white male, also approximately 18 to 25 years of age, wearing a black face covering, black hooded puffer jacket, black pants, and black shoes.
Residents and business owners in the area are urged to review any surveillance or dashcam footage captured between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. for evidence that may assist investigators.
