Three arrested, one sought after string of armed robberies
The Windsor Police Service has arrested three suspects and is seeking a fourth in connection with a string of armed robberies.
At approximately 5 a.m. on December 7, 2025, officers responded to a report of a robbery in the 1900 block of Wyandotte Street West. A male suspect approached a person seated in a parked vehicle, brandished a knife, and demanded they exit. The suspect and an accomplice stole the victim’s vehicle and wallet before fleeing. The stolen credit and debit cards were later used at several local businesses, and the vehicle was eventually recovered in LaSalle.
Shortly after 4 a.m. the next morning, officers investigated a robbery attempt near the intersection of Rankin Avenue and University Avenue. A black Dodge Ram reportedly abruptly stopped in front of a person’s vehicle. A male suspect then exited the truck and sprayed a noxious substance at the victim, who managed to flee and call police.
A short time later, officers responded to another robbery, this time in the 3400 block of Millen Street. Investigators learned that a male suspect approached an individual, demanded their car keys and cellphone, and then sprayed him with bear spray. The suspect then fled in the victim’s sedan, while a black Dodge Ram followed closely behind.
