Three suspects sought after attempted armed robbery
The Windsor Police Service is seeking three suspects following an attempted armed robbery.
Shortly after 10 p.m. on November 2, 2025, officers responded to a report of an attempted robbery in the 900 block of Ottawa Street. Investigators learned three suspects confronted two youths who were sitting on a bench in Lanspeary Park. One suspect brandished a can of bear spray and demanded their cell phones and other property. When one of the youths resisted, he was struck in the face. Both victims eventually managed to flee to a nearby business, where they called 9-1-1 for assistance.
No serious injuries were reported, and no property was taken.
The first suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’ tall, with a slender build and blonde wavy hair. At the time of the incident, he wore a black sweater and black pants.
The second suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’8” tall, with a slender to medium build. At the time of the incident, he wore a black ski mask, black sweater, and black pants.
The third suspect is described as a light-skinned black male, approximately 5’8” tall, with a muscular build. At the time of the incident, he wore a black ski mask, black sweater, and black pants.
Investigators are asking residents and business owners in the area to review surveillance or dash-cam footage recorded between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m. on November 2 for evidence that could assist the investigation.
