On November 3, 2025, members of the Problem-Oriented Policing (POP) Unit located and arrested Tyrell Patterson at a residence in the 900 block of St. Luke Road.

Patterson, 22, is charged with assault and occupying a motor vehicle with a firearm.

Second arrest warrant issued for suspect

The Windsor Police Service has issued a second arrest warrant for a suspect wanted in connection with two separate investigations.

Just before 9 p.m. on October 26, 2025, officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 1100 block of Harrison Ave. Through the investigation, officers learned that a victim was held at gunpoint by a female suspect. The female then fled the scene in a nearby vehicle. 

The driver of the vehicle has been identified as 22-year-old Tyrell Patterson, who is wanted for occupying a motor vehicle with a firearm. Patterson is also wanted in connection with an assault that occurred on October 8, 2025.

Patterson is described as a Black male, approximately 5’10” tall, with a medium build and a dark beard. The vehicle is described as a silver Chrysler Pacifica.

The unknown female suspect is described as white, 20-30 years old, with long dark hair. At the time of the incident she wore all black clothing.Investigators are urging anyone in the area with surveillance or dashcam footage to contact the Major Crimes Unit.

Warrant issued for assault suspect

The Windsor Police Service has issued an arrest warrant following an assault in east Windsor.

On October 8, 2025, shortly after 11 p.m., officers responded to a report of a physical altercation in the 5200 block of Tecumseh Road East. An argument between four men escalated when the suspect assaulted the victim, rendering him unconscious.

Following the incident, the victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Through investigation and review of surveillance footage, the suspect was identified as 22-year-old Tyrell Patterson. Patterson is wanted for assault. 

Patterson is described as a black male, approximately 5’10” tall, with a medium build and dark beard.
