Suspect arrested after break-in at marijuana dispensary

The Windsor Police Service has arrested a 38-year-old man in connection with a break-in at a west-end marijuana dispensary.  

In the morning hours of October 9, 2025, a suspect pried open a rear door of a plaza in the 400 block of Tecumseh Road West. Once inside, the suspect damaged a security camera with a crowbar and then attempted to force entry into the dispensary through an interior door. The attempt was unsuccessful, and the suspect fled the scene. 

Investigators with the Windsor Police Target Base Unit reviewed surveillance footage and identified the suspect as Brandon Robert Longmuir, 38. Shortly before 1 p.m. on October 22, members of the Problem-Oriented Policing (POP) Unit located and arrested Longmuir at a residence in the 300 block of Glengarry Avenue. 

Longmuir has been charged with the following:  

•    · Break-and-enter a place other than a dwelling  

•    · Possession of break-in tools 

•    · Wearing a disguise to commit an offence
