Pedestrian killed in west-end collision
The Windsor Police Service is investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision that resulted in the death of a pedestrian.
Shortly after 8 p.m. on October 12, 2025, officers responded to a report of a collision involving two vehicles and a pedestrian in the 3100 block of Sandwich Street. A preliminary investigation determined that the pedestrian was crossing Sandwich Street mid-block when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle. Both drivers remained at the scene.
Sandwich Street was closed between Mill Street and Detroit Street for several hours while members of the Windsor Police Service Traffic Reconstruction Unit conducted their investigation. The roadway has since been reopened.
