Police arrest suspects after 72 parked vehicles damaged
The Windsor Police Service has arrested these three suspects and charged them in connection with 40 additional vehicles being damaged across the city.
In total, more than 70 parked vehicles were damaged on four different dates between September 9, 2025, and October 1, 2025. Several of the vehicles also had their contents stolen, and a stolen credit card was used to make multiple purchases following one of the incidents.
On October 4, 2025, Amani-Shalom Malumbi-Sangwa, 19, and Daniel Alimasi, 19, turned themselves in at Windsor Police Headquarters. The third suspect, 18-year-old Ochang Cham, turned himself in the following day.
Officers have laid a total of 126 charges in relation to these occurrences, including mischief under $5,000, theft under $5,000, fraud under $5,000, having face masked, possession of break-in instruments, possession of property obtained by crime, using a credit card obtained by an offence, and failure to comply with a release order.

Police seek suspects who damaged over 30 parked vehicles
The Windsor Police Service seeks the public’s assistance to identify three suspects who damaged more than 30 parked vehicles in the city’s west end.
Shortly after 2 a.m. on September 25, 2025, officers responded to reports of several vehicles being damaged. Through investigation, officers found that the windows of over 30 vehicles had been smashed. Several of the vehicles also had their contents stolen.
The damaged vehicles were located in the 300 and 400 blocks of Askin Avenue, 3100 block of Sandwich Street, the 3000 block of Alexander Avenue, 3100, 3300, 3400 and 3600 blocks of Peter Street, the 3400 block of Baby Street, the 3500 block of Bloomfield Road, the 3500 block of Queen Street, and the 3500 and 3600 blocks of King Street.
Officers have obtained surveillance footage showing three suspects wanted in connection with this incident.
The first suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6’ tall. At the time of the incident, he wore a black and grey hoodie, black pants, and black shoes.
The second suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6’ tall. At the time of the incident, he wore a black puffer jacket, black and orange shoes, and a black balaclava.
The third suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6’ tall. At the time of the incident, he wore a black hoodie, black pants, white shoes, and a multi-coloured hat.
Investigators ask residents and business owners within the aforementioned areas to check their dash-cam or surveillance footage between 12:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. on September 25 for evidence related to this case.
