Police seek two suspects following robbery
The Windsor Police Service is searching for two suspects following a robbery in the city’s west end.
Shortly before 2 a.m. on October 2, 2025, officers responded to a report of a robbery near Wyandotte Street West at Cameron Avenue. Investigators learned that the victim, a taxi driver, had picked up a man and a woman in the 900 block of Josephine Avenue. During the ride, a verbal altercation escalated when the female suspect climbed into the front seat and bit the driver. The male suspect then exited the vehicle, opened the driver’s door, and physically assaulted the victim.
The suspects fled with the victim’s glasses, vehicle keys, and approximately $108 in Canadian currency.
The victim sustained non-life-threatening physical injuries.
The first suspect, who may go by the name “Diamond,” is described as a black female, with short, curly, brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black sweater and black shorts.
The second suspect is described as a white male, approximately 40 years old, with short, black hair. He was last seen wearing a white Puma t-shirt, a baseball hat, and glasses.
