Driver sustains life-threatening injuries in motor vehicle collision

 

The Windsor Police Service is investigating a two-vehicle collision in which a driver sustained life-threatening injuries.

 

Shortly after 10:30 a.m. on August 29, 2025, police were dispatched to the 9700 block of Tecumseh Road East following a report of a motor vehicle collision. Officers arrived and found a brown SUV and a silver minivan with significant front- end damage.  

 

The driver of the SUV was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries and the driver of the minivan sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also transported to the hospital.

 

The area was closed to traffic for several hours while the Windsor Police Traffic Reconstruction Unit conducted an investigation.

 

The investigation remains ongoing.
