Suspects sought after assault
The Windsor Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance identifying two suspects following an assault that left a man injured.
Shortly before 8 a.m. on August 8, 2026, officers responded to a report of an assault that took place the prior evening. Police learned that a man was leaving a business in the 3900 block of Seminole St. when he was struck from behind by an unknown male and fell to the ground.
Two males continued to punch and kick him, causing him to strike the curb and lose consciousness temporarily. The suspects then took the victim’s cellphone and fled the area.
The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The first suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’0” tall, 25-30 years old, with brown hair and a moustache. At the time of the incident, he wore a white t-shirt under a “DETROIT VS. EVERYBODY” sweatshirt and a Blue Jays hat.
The second suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’0” tall, 25-30 years old, with a shaved head, full beard, and several arm tattoos. At the time of the incident, he wore a sleeveless shirt, shorts, and red and white baseball hat.
